Mrs. Rogers has been teaching in Nebo District for many years and was most recently a district Literacy Specialist at Rees Elementary. We we are so lucky to have her join our EM team!
Mrs. Benteti will be teaching 4th grade. She did her practicum experience at East Meadows in 4th grade with Mrs. Cropper as her mentor teacher.
Miss Blasini will be teaching 2nd grade. She did her practicum experiences at East Meadows and Mt. Loafer Elementary last year.
Over the next week, I will be spotlighting the new staff members who will be joining us at East Meadows for the 2022-2023 school year!
Mrs. Lyon's will be teaching on our 1st grade team and was a student teacher last year in Kindergarten and was trained by Angela Nelson, her mentor teacher.
East Meadows Faculty, Staff, Parents, and Students are going to miss Mrs.Kofoed so much! She has been a spectacular teacher and the heard of East Meadows. We are excited as she moves onto her next adventure, but sad to see her leave. She has mixed emotions about it as well. We would love to hear why you love Mrs.Kofoed.
Kindergartners ended their school year playing outside this week in the WATER! Talk about a fun time with friends! We are sad to see the kindergarteners leave for the year but can’t wait to welcome them back as first graders in the fall!
First Grade went to the all abilities park on Wednesday and had the time of their lives. Thanks to the parent volunteers that came with!
Students have been working really hard on their end of year tests. 3rd-5th graders have to take state testing. They have put in a lot of work and have done really well!
On May 12th, 2nd Grade walked down to Adventure Heights All Abilities Park and boy did we have some ADVENTURES!!! It was a super fun day! Check out those crazy 2nd grade teachers!
