Hello East Meadows Families!

It is Literacy Week at East Meadows!  As part of this fun week, our PTA will be hosting Books and Buddies on Thursday, March 3 from 8:00- 8:45 am.  Students should bring 1 adult buddy.  This can be a parent, grandparent, neighbor, or adult sibling.  Everyone that comes will receive a donut and the students will receive a book in their own classrooms that morning!  We invite you to eat and read a book with your student until 8:45.

Many teachers after a days work today, found their cars cleaned off, by two boys from one of our own East Meadows Families! Thanks you Sayre boys! They even left a fun surprise too! #kindnessmatters #wintheday #neboschooldistrict 

Teacher of the Year! Mrs.Warenski is well deserving of this recognition. She puts kids first and works extremely hard to help them achieve academic growth. Mrs.Warenski teachers her students to be good humans! Her leadership skills help all of her colleagues want to be better. East Meadows wouldn’t be East Meadows without Mrs.Warenski. 

On February 2nd, 4th Grade celebrated the end of their Pioneer unit in Social Studies with their own “Pioneer Day”. The students and teachers dressed up, played pioneer games, made biscuits and butter, and performed the Virginia Reel dance for parents and family members. It was a day to remember!  

Valentines Day Fun here at East Meadows! We LOVE each and everyone one of our students! Thanks to all the parents that helped with class parties! 

January we were working on Discipline. We have so many students here at East Meadows that are great at showing discipline. Check our facebook and instagram for some videos! 

Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders celebrated the hundredth day of school by dressing up, wearing 100 things, and doing lots of learning with the number 100.

5th Grade Science Fair 🧪  We are so proud of students for showing their projects to students, parents, and judges. We are excited for those moving onto the next science fair.
