East Meadows 5th graders participated in a ten week NOVA program with Officer Leifson from the Spanish Fork police force.

Through our Penny Wars Charitable Giving Fundraiser, students and staff at East Meadows were able to raise and donate $3,296.57 to the Nebo Credit Union Warm the Soles program. Each year, Warm the Soles provides hundreds of pairs of shoes for students in need across the district. The East Meadows Student Council presented a check for the funds raised at our Mustang Pride Assembly on December 2nd.
We are so grateful for the charitable giving from our East Meadows community!
A team from the BYU Performing Arts department put on a wonderful play for the school highlighting the book GO DOG, GO! by Dr. Seuss. Their creative interpretation of the play kept all of the students engaged and entertained. After the performance, teams of actors visited our 3rd grade classes to teach an additional workshop.
This year, students got their "gobble on" and competed in a school-wide Gobble Off Competition. Each class sent their TOP GOBBLER and all competed for the title of best gobbler.
Our distinguished judges, Mr. Talbot and Mr. Duncan, entertained the crowd and judged the event for us.

This year, students and staff participated in our first ever TURKEY TROT! Students earned tickets for running laps during lunch and those tickets went into a drawing for fun prizes at our Gobble Off Assembly!
