Many students participated in the Reflections Art Contest this year and enjoyed an award ceremony and pizza party on Friday, December 16th. The theme for this year was "Show Your Voice" and students submitted art in the areas of 3-D, 2-D visual arts, photography, literature, dance, and film.
The 3rd Grade students at East Meadows have been working hard to learn about different countries around the world and create digital reports to share with parents and staff.
The band, orchestra and choir from Diamond Fork Jr. High performed a a combined Christmas Concert for the students and staff at East Meadows on December 21st. It was fun to welcome back the students who were once East Meadows Mustangs themselves.
First grade students at East Meadows created their very own Polar Express train cars and traveled through the school on their way to the North Pole. Each boxcar was personally created and reflected the personality of the child. Students had to turn in their special Polar Express Ticket, given only to good girls and boys. This is such a fun annual event for students and staff.
East Meadows 5th graders participated in a ten week NOVA program with Officer Leifson from the Spanish Fork police force.
