The U.S. Census Bureau has embarked on a nationwide effort to inform everyone living in the United States and five of its territories about the upcoming 2020 Census and to encourage them to respond online, by phone, or by mail.

Everyone counts. The census counts every person living in the U.S. once, only once, and in the right places.

It’s about fair representation. Every 10 years, the results of the census are used to reapportion the House of Representatives, determining how many seats each state gets.

We had a "Suprise" Hawaii Day at East Meadows. The students and teachers all had a great time!

Our 1st graders had their program today. The students did such a great job! We love to hear them sing and preform their parts! Our parent support is amazing! Thanks for all the hard work that our students and teachers went to to make this program a success!

East Meadows After School Clubs

*New session begins March 17th

*Open to 3rd - 6th grade students at East Meadows

*Clubs begin Tuesday, March 17th

*Clubs will meet for 8 weeks from 2:45 until 4:15 p.m.

*Registration opens Wednesday, March 4th at 10:00 a.m.

REMEMBER - When you register on Eventbrite, it will say free.  However there is a $10.00 supply fee that will be paid to the East Meadows Office (not to Eventbrite) by cash or check when clubs begin.

Today we had some teachers and students celebrate Dr. Seuss Day at East Meadows. Our librarian dressed up and had a great time reading Dr. Seuss books with the students and our lunch ladies got into Dr. Seuss Day by dressing up and serving "Green Eggs and Ham." The students loved it!

Today was our Mustang Pride Assembly. We had a couple of students from each class recognized as showing their Mustang Effort for Feburary.
