The 3rd Graders at East Meadows went to Thanksgiving Point to visit the Butterfly Biosphere. They learned so much about life cycles and how different bugs go through their own life cycles. Students got lots of hands on experience with insects and the different parts of their life cycles.

Bring your best pre-decorated pumpkin with you to the fundraiser on Friday night and enter it into the Pumpkin Contest! Entries are $2/each and are payable at the door.
All pumpkins are due by 5:30pm and awards will be announced at 6pm by Miss Spanish Fork.

East Meadows PRIDE Squad attended the Student Council Leadership Conference held at the BYU Conference Center last Tuesday, Oct. 4th. They heard from five different speakers including Meg Johnson, John Bytheway, Brad Barton, and Kirk Weisler. These speakers shared leadership skills and traits that will help our PRIDE Squad.
First Grade celebrated Johnny Appleseed on Friday, September 30th. The students were thrilled meeting Johnny in our classrooms.
Last week our 4th graders were able to go on a fun field trip to Camp Floyd. They got to go to pioneer school, make candles and bricks, learned about the Pony Express, visited an old Inn and more! It was so much fun!
4th grade has been learning about energy in science. Today, they got to make their own Rube Goldberg machines to show what they've learned about energy transfers!
