Last week our East Meadows Leadership Team had the awesome opportunity to attend the PLC Summit in Phoenix, Arizona. The three day conference included sessions from some of the most influential educational leaders and researchers in the world.
We learned about elevating learning for both teachers and students. Each day our team ended the day with a debriefing session where we discussed goals and plans for the future. It was such a beneficial trip and we are excited to share what we learned with staff and parents!
Students can bring a "Buddy" to school with them on Friday. This can be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or family friend. Doughnuts will be served and each child will receive a free book. We are looking forward to this annual event.
It's the last push to finish our READING CHALLENGE to read 20 times during February and fill out your punch card. We have daily dress up days planned as well as Books and Buddies and a Reading Marathon on Friday.
If your child would like to visit the East Meadows Ice Cream truck for a frozen treat, they will need their completed punch card to be turned in by Friday morning!
Visit Sodamix for a drink and treat on Tuesday, February 13th between 3:00-7:00 PM and earn 20% back for the East Meadows PTA!
