BYU Sports Hero Day

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

East Meadows 6th-grade students participated in activities with athletes from Brigham Young University (BYU) for Sports Hero Day. Among many athletes, students got to meet Riley Nelson, James Clark and Charles Abuou. The athletes talked to them about important life skills such as: listen to parents, surround yourself with greatness, have good sportsmanship, and be a leader. The students saw some awesome diving and had fun doing several relay games. East Meadows wishes to thank BYU for inviting them to attend Sports Hero Day.
