Our Mighty Mustangs of the Month for March best exemplify the character trait of POSITIVITY. Congratulations to these awesome students! They enjoyed a pizza party with Mrs. Jordan in the conference room and took a virtual trip to Disneyland!
Congratulations to our East Meadows Keyboarding Champions. This past week, the top performing students in keyboarding competed against one another to determine who had the top speed and accuracy.
Our 5th Grade Champion was Dwayne Rubio
Our 4th Grade Champion was Clara Loper
The winners each received a golden keyboard and a small cash prize. Those who qualified and competed each received a certificate and the honor of being the top typists at East Meadows!
This past week we attended an assembly hosted by the Spanish Fork City Fiesta Days organization. The were here at East Meadows to promote the Rodeo Reading Challenge that will run through the month of April. Students have been challenged to read 30 minutes every day to try and beat the record set last year by Rees Elementary.
All students and faculty at Spanish Fork High are safe.
This was a false report of an active shooter at Spanish Fork High. Police responded quickly and lock down protocol was immediately put into place. Police swept the building and have deemed it safe.
As a result your school was either on lockdown or lockout for a short period of time.
We appreciate the quick reaction of our local law enforcement and administration.

Join us on Tuesday, March 21st for East Meadows PTA spirit night from 5:00-9:00 PM at the Chick-Fil-A Spanish Fork location. A proceed of the sales (20%) will be given back to our PTA.
Spirit nights have been a great way to earn extra money for the PTA now that the BoxTops program has changed and the Amazon Smiles program has ended.
Thanks for supporting our school by attending spirit nights!
Literacy week at East Meadows was a big success! On Thursday, March 2nd, students brought a buddy to school and shared a doughnut and a good book. On Friday, March 3rd, students enjoyed a visit from the East Meadows Ice Cream Truck. They were able to trade in their reading punch cards for a tasty frozen treat!
Congratulations to the students who have been honored for their good behavior with a pride note and visit to the Mustang Corral during February and March.
The community is invited to help "Adopt a Planter" at the upcoming Spanish Fork City Planting Days. See flyer for details, dates and times. This is such a worthwhile event for families!
