After learning how snowflakes form this week, Mrs.Burnside's class were able to get outside and see the amazing crystals that fall from the sky.
This special workshop is being held for parents who have a child with an IEP or who may be having behavior problems in school. It is free and offered via zoom. See flyer for details!
Mrs. Warenski and her class welcomed a special visitor recently, State Superintendent of Schools, Sydnee Dickson. Mrs. Dickson visited the class and brought a special gift to Mrs. Warenski to thank her for being the great teacher that she is. Mrs. Warenski was the runner up for the Utah Teacher of the Year award and we are so grateful for her wonderful influence at East Meadows. Congratulations Mrs. Warenski!
Congratulations to the students who were chosen to visit the Mustang Corral in December. Each student received a Pride Note for doing something nice or noteworthy!
Many students participated in the Reflections Art Contest this year and enjoyed an award ceremony and pizza party on Friday, December 16th. The theme for this year was "Show Your Voice" and students submitted art in the areas of 3-D, 2-D visual arts, photography, literature, dance, and film.
The 3rd Grade students at East Meadows have been working hard to learn about different countries around the world and create digital reports to share with parents and staff.
