No Drama Llama Assembly

On Friday, April 28th, our 4th and 5th grade students participated in the "No Drama Llama" assembly.  Students learned about how to STOP bullying behaviors and how to GIVE more patience and kindness to others.  Many thanks to the team at Summit Counseling Services for putting on this fun and informative presentation.  

National Principal's Day!

All of the students and staff at East Meadows surprised Mrs. Jordan throughout the day on Monday with balloons visits, poems, cards and songs for National Principal Day. 

Mrs. Jordan would like to thank everyone for making the day so special, fun and happy!  East Meadows is definitely her HAPPY PLACE!

Our Mighty Mustangs of the Month for March best exemplify the character trait of POSITIVITY.  Congratulations to these awesome students!  They enjoyed a pizza party with Mrs. Jordan in the conference room and took a virtual trip to Disneyland!  

Keyboarding Champions!

Congratulations to our East Meadows Keyboarding Champions.  This past week, the top performing students in keyboarding competed against one another to determine who had the top speed and accuracy. 

Our 5th Grade Champion was Dwayne Rubio

Our 4th Grade Champion was Clara Loper

The winners each received a golden keyboard and a small cash prize.  Those who qualified and competed each received a certificate and the honor of being the top typists at East Meadows!  

Rodeo Reading Challenge

This past week we attended an assembly hosted by the Spanish Fork City Fiesta Days organization.  The were here at East Meadows to promote the Rodeo Reading Challenge that will run through the month of April.  Students have been challenged to read 30 minutes every day to try and beat the record set last year by Rees Elementary.
