It's LOVE TO READ MONTH at East Meadows!  Students have been challenged to do their nightly reading at least 20 times during the month of February.  Each time your child completes their daily reading, they can punch or cross off a square on their punch card.  At the end of the month, return the punch card to the teacher.  Punch cards can be used to "shop" at the ice cream truck that will travel around the school at our Seuss-A-Palooza event on March 3rd.

Many thanks to the East Meadows PTA who came early to set up treats and snacks for the teachers on Friday, January 13th.  The teachers spent the entire day from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm doing online zoom trainings to improve their instructional practice in reading.

We couldn't be more grateful for these little acts of kindness from the PTA that make a BIG difference for teachers.  THANK YOU!
