Hello East Meadows Parents,
Our Teacher Parade will be on Wednesday, May 13! We will leave the school at 10:00 a.m. and anticipate the route taking until 11:30 a.m. (although that is a guess!!). We will not be able to hit every street. I apologize for that. We did the very best we could to hit the majority of streets without causing a log jam of traffic! Please find a place along the route to wave to the teachers! If you live out of boundaries, you are more than welcome to stand anywhere along the route, including the parking lot on the east side of Abbie Court Park. Please remind your kids that they should not run out to the cars. A wave and a smile is all that we need!! Signs of appreciation are welcome as well! We want everyone to be safe! We know that this is not the ideal way to say goodbye for the summer, however, we are excited to see all the kids again. At-home learning will resume through May 22. Thanks for helping your kids finish strong!!!
We truly do miss our students!! See you at the parade!
