We had Officer DeWitt here with his police car on Tuesday. Our 5th grade students were able to check out his car and see all the equipment that the officers need each day.
We have enjoyed having Officer DeWitt here each week teaching the DARE program to our students. He is so nice and the students just love him!
Thanks to all our police officers for all they do for our communtiy!
We were so lucky today to have an assembly today put on by some student athletes from Spanish Fork High School.
They did a great job and teaching our students to be kind and respectful to others.
They had some questions for the students "What would you do?" it made them think of how they would act in certain situations.
They taught them to THINK before they speak.
T= Is it True?
H=Is it Helpful?
I=Is it Inspiring?
N=Is it Necessary?
K=Is it Kind?
Today our 6th grades had their Egypt Walk. They have been studying about Egypt, they have learned so much and have had a great time making their projects to show to all of the students and parents. It was fun to walk through the classrooms and see all the creative projects that were on display. We have such great students at East Meadows!
