"3rd grade students use shape and movement to reflect different kinds of simple machines."
This week through the GAINS program (Growing Arts In Nebo Schools), students discovered new ways of learning through dance and movement.
3rd grade classes learned a "Simple Machines" folk dance and then created their own simple machines using shape and movement.
Our Kindergarten Students had so much fun celebrating "100 Days" at school!
East Meadows had a Reptile Assembly today. The students loved it!!! Some students and teachers were able to hold one of the reptiles, some were pretty scared of the creepy, crawley things!
It was very interesting to hear all about reptiles!

We had a busy day today at East Meadows. We had our 5th and 6th grade science fair.
The students did such a great job! They learned so much from their projects.
It was fun to see all the different projects.
Great job East Meadows!!!
East Meadows Elementary school is looking for reading tutoring volunteers! Come spend part of your day helping a child read, have more confidence and excel academically. Training is provided. You must be 18 or older to volunteer and you must pass a criminal background check. We would like volunteers to commit to volunteering until the end of the school year. Most volunteers come in for one hour twice a week, but if you are not available for that much time we can work with however much time you are able to give!
