We honored and celebrated Veteran's Day with an assembly where we learned more about the brave sacrifice that men and women have taken all over to serve our country. The students of East Meadows showed a lot of respect by sitting quietly and listening to each of our veterans. At one point during the assembly a video was played where the sound wasn't working, students say silently and watched the video without making a sound. It was very cool to see the respect that these students showed. At the end of the assembly students sang God Bless America and it was amazing. We are forever grateful for all the men and women who served or are serving our country. We love you and support you. Check instagram for videos from our assembly.
