East Meadows enjoyed an energetic, fun, jump rope assembly on October 17, 2013.  The "Just Jumpin" jump rope workshop was made of kids of all ages.  They showed off their stunts accompanied by modern music.  Our students loved it.  They sang, clappped hands and smiled as the group dazzled them with some pretty amazing moves.  The "Just Jumpin" group is sponsored by Intermountain LiVe Well.  Their mission statement is: to inspire, motivate and educate children and youth through the unlimited opportunities that jump rope provides.

Ribbon Week at East Meadows

The week of October 14-21 was Ribbon Week at East Meadows.  To get in the spirit of each day the kids and faculty all wore the color of the day.  Each student was also given a bracelet for the color of the day.  Monday started off the week with "Turn off the TV and Talk Day."  The students wore yellow this day.  They were asked to turn off the TV and turn of your life!  They were encouraged to participate in a fun family activity instead of sitting in front of the TV.  Tuesday was Drug Free day.
