Books and Buddies

Submitted by linda.beck on

This year for our Books and Buddies we had to do it a little different! our PTA was so amazing for getting things figured out and to have a way that the students would still be able to enjoy this activity! Each student recieved a book and a treat from the PTA. They were able to read in their classrooms and enjoy a little quiet time to read and have a snack!

Thank you to everyone who made this possible! We appreciate all the support we get at East Meadows!

Dear community partners:

Join us in sharing the news – PBS KIDS Utah is celebrating 20 years of the Writers and Illustrators Contest! This year’s theme is Celebrate the Great Outdoors. The contest is an initiative that fosters imagination and creativity in young artists and writers. Every year, PBS KIDS Utah invites children K-6th grades throughout the state to participate.

Hats Off to Reading!

East Meadows students celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday today! Several favorite characters from Dr. Seuss books also made an appearance. Teachers and students enjoyed literacy-based activities and lots of reading together. We love our teachers and the awesome job they do at teaching our students to be lifelong readers and thinkers.
