Mrs. Lyman's Class
Mrs. Lyman's class had fun last week. They had an indoor snowball fight and celebrated Thanksgiving in teepees. Looks like 6ths graders are never too old to have fun!

If you walk down the first grade hall at the beginning of the school day watch your step and walk carefully or you may step on pairs of students reading. Every morning Monday through Thursday, sixth grade students peer tutor first graders. The first grade students love having the chance to read with these amazing tutors! Thank you sixth graders for the great work you are doing!
Thank you to all of our amazing STAR Reading Volunteers!

East Meadows had a Veteran's Day assembly on Monday. We had many of the men and women that served our Country participate in the assembly. The Larsen's that attend our school were lucky enough to have their Grandpa Larsen here!
Thanks to the men and women who have served our country and to those that are now serving our county to preserve our rights and freedom.
Our 3rd grade teachers applied for a grant through the Nebo Foundation to help pay for their field trip to Salem Pond where they explored and learned about the habitats that are there at the pond. On November 6th they were awarded a grant for $250.00, this helps cover the cost of transportation and will help towards a future field trip this Spring.
