SEP Conference Schedule – Walking Report Card Our Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences will be held on Wednesday, March 18 th at East Meadows. This conference is for parents and students. We will be doing things a bit differently this time; students will be doing a walking report card where they will be performing tasks for their parents to show some of the skills they have learned throughout the year. You will find the schedule listed below. Several students are scheduled at the same time, because the rotations are set to accommodate more than one student at a time.
It's that time year! Kindergarten registration for the 2015-2016 school year. It will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 7:30-4:30. Tell all of your friends and neighbors that will have one starting Kindergarten next year. This group of new parents is the hardest to reach. The don't receive parent-link, notes from the school or Facebook. They only hear by word of mouth. So spread the word.

The Kindergarten dressed up like one of their favorite Dr. Seuss characters today at school to finish up celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday week. We had many Cat in the Hat's, Thing 1 and Thing 2's, and lot's of little Who's. It was a fun week with many activities to promote reading, rhyming and learning.
Dr. Seuss' book "Hop on Pop" is definetely a favorite. It introduces children to ryhming words such as: hop on pop, mouse on house, and cup and pup. It teaches children that some words make the same sounds and all they have to do is change the first letter and they can read multiple words. Our Kindergarten celebrated today by hopping on and popping balloons. It was great fun!
The Kindergarten sported all sorts of crazy hair today at school.
