We will be doing things a bit differently this time; students will be doing a walking report card where they will be performing tasks for their parents to show some of the skills they have learned throughout the year. Kindergarten Celebrates Dr. Seuss with "Hop on Pop" Book

Submitted by trisha.olsen on

Dr. Seuss' book "Hop on Pop" is definetely a favorite.  It introduces children to ryhming words such as: hop on pop, mouse on house, and cup and pup.  It teaches children that some words make the same sounds and all they have to do is change the first letter and they can read multiple words.  Our Kindergarten celebrated today by hopping on and popping balloons.  It was great fun!
