Champions Challenge Reading Assembly

On Tuesday March 3, East Meadows was visited by a rodeo clown, some city officials and the 2014 Fiesta Days Rodeo Royalty.  They talked to the kids about the sport of rodeo. The rodeo clown entertained them with some of his clown acts.  He also talked to the kids about the importance of getting an education.  Spanish Fork is proud to welcome the 2015 Wrangler Champions Challenge Rodeo to our Fairgrounds Arena on May 30. There are only 10 Champions Challenge Rodeo's currently in the United States and we have 1 here in Spanish Fork. The Champions Challenge features the PRCA's best contestants competing on the sport's best stock.  As part of the celebration East Meadows students will compete in a reading challenge for the month of March.  For every day they read 30 minutes they can receive a ticket from their teacher to put into a drawing for prizes.  The prizes will be a pair of Justin Cowboy Boots and 2 students will each receive 2 tickets to the Rodeo on May 30, 2015.  Watch for more details to come home with your student.
