Happy 100th Day of School!

Today, January 30, 2015, East Meadows is celebrated the 100th day of school.  Many classrooms were doing fun activities around the number 100.  The Kindergarten wore shirts to school with 100 things on them.  Who were those 100 year old Kindergarten teachers?  The first grade strung 100 Froot Loops on string making a necklace, they colored 100 shaped eye glasses, they drew a picture of themselves looking 100 years old, they did 100 exercises, and they took a die-cut 100 and made it into a picture.  Second grade had a pajama day to celebrate.  Each student brought small candies to share, they made 100 shaped glasses and wrote about how they would spend $100.  Mrs. McQuivey’s class wrote on hearts, “100 ways to thaw a frozen a heart,” to decorate their door.  Some of Miss Lambert’s class dressed as 100 year old people.  Happy 100 Days of School!
