ARGH! First grade pirates found themselves marooned on the East Meadows Isle on September 13,2012. These little buccaneers found themselves learning about literacy and math through fun pirate activities. By the end of the day they learned, “There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.” Thank ye first-grade teachers for making learning fun and exciting for our students.
