2nd Grade Snowflake Day

Last week second grade celebrated Snowflake Day(very fitting for the weather). The students in second grade learned about Snowflake Bentley and went outside to examine snowflakes, they were excited to learn that they could actually see the branches on a single snowflake. They wrote a poem about snowflakes and made snowflakes from paper. They made fake snow, learned about International Snow Sculpting competitions and had a sculpting competition of their own.
