On Friday, April 27, East Meadows 4th-grade students went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. The Festival features around 100 different varieties of 250,000 tulips spread throughout the landscape. Besides looking at all the tulips the students saw waterfalls and walked through beautifully landscaped gardens.
