April 21st marked the 2nd annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser here at East Meadows Elementary.  In conjunction with the breakfast we held our Safety Fair.  The Spanish Fork Police Department came to register bikes and scooters. The Fire Department brought a shiny red fire truck with a big tall ladder.  They even retrieved a ball from the roof of the school using the ladder. The Ambulance Department let all the kids see inside the ambulance.  The Utah County Health Department was there to answer any questions about car seat safety. There were booths set up to teach about crossing the street, following road signs, blind spots and bus safety and animal safety.  Thank you to all the teachers and staff and PTA member who helped make the event a success.  We raised money to help fund the PTA activities and enough to make a generous donation back to the school.
