"Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings."  William Arthur Ward

Research has shown that kids who show gratitude have greater life satisfaction and perform better in school.  Here are some tips on ways to instill gratitude in your kids.  For a more comprehensive list, see this article in the Huffington Post1.Name your blessings.2.Have kids pitch in when they want something.3.Keep thank-you notes on hand.4.Set a good example by saying “thank you” sincerely and often.5. Insist on politeness and respect all around.
Kids who show gratitude also have more grit and perseverance! It's a great quality to remember; and not just on the 4th Thursday of November.
