The Living Planet Aquarium of Utah visited East Meadows second-grade students with their Rainforest Van tour.  They helped the student’s travel across many continents to see all the rainforests around the world.  They gave the students opportunities to observe live rainforest animals.  These animals included: the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, a Giant Cave Roach, a White’s Tree Frog, a Blood Python, a Rainbow Boa Constrictor, a Halloween Moon Crab, a Crocodile Skink, a Crested Gecko and a Giant African Millipede.  The students were thrilled as they were able to not only observe but touch and feel some of the animals.  The Living Planet Aquarium studied the Utah State Core Curriculum to come up with the presentation.  Thank you for coming to our school!
