Champions Challenge Reading Assembly

Submitted by trisha.olsen on

On Tuesday April 1, East Meadows was visited by a rodeo clown, some city officials and the 2013 Fiest Days Rodeo Royalty.  They talked to the kids about the sport of rodeo. The rodeo clown entertained them with some of his clown acts.  He also talked to the kids about the importance of getting an education.  Spanish Fork is proud to welcome the 2014 Wrangler Champions Challenge Rodeo to our Fairgrounds Arena on May 31. This is the first full season for the Champions Challenge and this should be an exciting event. The Champions Challenge features the PRCA's best contestants competing on the sport's best stock.  As part of the celebration East Meadows students will compete in a reading challenge for the month of April.  For every day they read 30 minutes they can receive a ticket from their teacher to put into a drawing for prizes.  The drawing will be held the first week in May.  Good luck and enjoy the reading challenge!
