The third graders at East Meadows Elementary have recently been learning about Native American Culture.  On Tuesday, November 26, each class performed a play for their parents depicting the culture of Native Americans.  Mrs. McEntire and Mrs. Loveland’s class performed, “Pushing up the Sky,” and “The Strongest One.” Mrs. Mcquivey’s class performed, “A Possum’s Tail.”  Mrs. Aguero’s class performed, “Gluskabe and Old Man Winter.” Mrs. Mecham’s class performed, “The Cannibal Monster--A Tlingit Legend” and “Wihio’s Duck Dance.”  They all did a fabulous job memorizing their parts and being great little actors and actresses.
