Rain Forest Van Visits East Meadows

Last week second grade had an opportunity to have the Rainforest Van visit us from the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. Students learned about the 7 continents and where rainforests are located on our Earth. They were able to meet some amazing animals from each of these rainforests and learn about features of the animal, its role in the rainforest and other facts. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about and even touch most of the animals.

East Meadows had a Reptile Assembly today. The students loved it!!! Some students and teachers were able to hold one of the reptiles, some were pretty scared of the creepy, crawley things!

It was very interesting to hear all about reptiles!
