The fifth graders at East Meadows got to participate in a Freedom Walk sponsored by the American Legion. Students were given a shirt and a dog tag for the day. Students went to different stations to learn about respect for the flag, visit with an Air Force pilot, learn what it was like to be in the Navy, and much more. We are so thankful for the opportunity to learn from these veterans and we thank them for their service!
